Alan Trammell played shortstop for the Detroit Tigers his entire career, from 1977-1996. He was a 6 time all-star, a 4 time gold glove winner and a 3 time silver slugger award winner. He was the world series MVP in 1984 when the Tigers won the World Series. Trammell hit .285 during his career and also hit 185 homeruns.
