Starting Lineup hockey figures got their legacy going in 1993 and Kenner continued to produce these excellent hockey figures until 2000. SLU Hockey figures had a great run with the regular series but there were not nearly as many other series produced – which many would argue is a good thing, as it did not over-saturate the market with starting lineup hockey figures in the the 90’s.
With SLU hockey figures, you will find that Kenner also produced series that were released in Canada with French cards. These slu hockey figures tend to be harder to find and are considered rare hockey starting lineup figures, thus making them a bit more valuable.
